A. While there are many benefits to having one product that can both vacuum and mop, some customers prefer keeping these two jobs separate. A robot vacuum can be working in one area of the house while the robot mop is focused elsewhere. Or, you can programme them to work in perfect sequence to cover the same room. The Braava jet® m6 uses a Precision Jet Spray mopping technique which sprays the water or cleaning solution in front to loosen dirt and sticky messes while the Roomba Combo products use a pad-saturating process during mopping. If space for two robots and two charging docs is a concern, a Roomba Combo product can be a better choice for saving space.

A: Both bundles include the Braava jet® m6 robot mop, and both bundles feature Imprint® Link Technology which syncs the products together to automatically vacuum and then mop in perfect sequence. The difference with this bundle is that it includes the Roomba® j9+, our smartest, most powerful robot vacuum yet for rough or fine debris pickup. The Roomba® j9+ features a PrecisionVision Navigation system which makes clean-up simple by enabling your robot vacuum to identify and vacuum around objects in its path like shoes, socks, pet bowls and cords. It comes with our Pet Owner Official Promise (P.O.O.P.) which guarantees a replacement if it sweeps up accidental pet messes*. Finally, it includes Dirt Detective, which continuously aggregates insights from past cleaning jobs to automatically vacuum the dirtiest room first.
The Roomba® s9+ cleans thoroughly into corners and along edges but does not include the PrecisionVision Navigation system, our P.O.O.P guarantee or Dirt Detective.

A: Imprint® Smart Mapping technology describes the robot’s ability to learn, map and adapt to your home. It learns your floorplan as it cleans and remembers this map for future cleaning jobs. Once the robot has learned your space you can tell it which rooms to clean and your robot will know which cleaning method to use based on the bin installed.
A. Dirt Detective creates a cleaning plan based on how often each room is cleaned and how frequently dirt is detected in each room. The current state of clean will be visualised in the iRobot Home App. Selecting Dirt Detective to start cleaning will enable your robot to automatically prioritise the dirtiest rooms and use the most optimal cleaning settings for each.
A: Yes, cleaning crumbs is now as easy as ‘Roomba, clean under the kitchen table’. A simple request to your voice assistant⁷ or via the iRobot Home App enables the Roomba® j9+ robot vacuum or Braava jet® m6 to clean messes for you, right when they happen – immediately clean that spot and consider it done.
A. The Clean Base® Automatic Dirt Disposal eliminates the dusty and dirty mess often associated with emptying vacuum bins. This system’s Dirt Disposal bags hold 60 days of dirt and debris.
A. Attach a Braava jet® cleaning pad and the robot automatically selects the appropriate cleaning method for the pad. Wet Mopping Pads feature wicking fibres to help break up kitchen grease, grime* and sticky messes. When Wet Mopping Pads are attached, Precision Jet Spray loosens dirt and sticky messes without spraying furniture, rugs or walls. Add Braava jet® Hard Floor Cleaner for a long-lasting, fresh scent. Dry Sweeping Pads use electrostatic force to capture dirt, dust and pet hair. *Tested in Spot Clean mode.
